- Overview
The Khanh Hoa Campus of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) is an affiliated unit of Ton Duc Thang University. It was established on July 15, 2008, under the name Nha Trang Facility, according to Decision No. 1077/QĐ-TLĐ issued by the President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour.
On May 13, 2011, the Nha Trang Facility was upgraded to Nha Trang Professional Intermediate School under Decision No. 603/QĐ-TLĐ. Subsequently, on February 20, 2017, the Ministry of Education and Training issued Decision No. 500/QĐ-BGDĐT, officially establishing the Khanh Hoa Campus of Ton Duc Thang University.
On May 31, 2022, the Ministry of Education and Training issued Decision No. 1421/QĐ-BGDĐT, authorizing the campus to conduct training activities — marking a significant milestone in the university’s mission to advance education and human resource development.
Located at 22 Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, Vinh Phuoc Ward, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province, the campus is responsible for organizing and managing training programs, conducting scientific and applied research activities in alignment with Ton Duc Thang University’s overall development plan and its approved local strategy. The primary goal of the Khanh Hoa Campus is to train high-quality human resources and nurture local talents, while producing research outcomes that contribute to the socio-economic development of the South Central Coast, the Central Highlands, and Khanh Hoa Province in particular.
Notably, the campus also fulfills the objectives of Resolution No. 20 of the 10th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, adopted at its sixth plenary session, which emphasizes “continuing to build the Vietnamese working class during the period of accelerated industrialization and modernization of the country.”
- Facilities
Perched on the breezy, scenic La San Hill and overlooking the Hon Chong coastal area in Nha Trang Bay recognized as one of the world’s 29 most beautiful bays—the Khanh Hoa Campus of Ton Duc Thang University spans a total land area of 28,836.4 square meters. The land was officially granted by the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee on March 6, 2024. The campus comprises 14,785 square meters of construction area and 24,180 square meters of usable space, including a main hall, lecture halls, classrooms, multipurpose rooms, faculty offices for professors and lecturers, a library, research centers, laboratories, practical training facilities, and sports fields. All lecture halls and classrooms are fully equipped with air conditioning and modern teaching technologies. Students from across Khanh Hoa Province and beyond can live on campus in a modern, secure dormitory complex with accommodations for 700 residents.
In recent years and continuing into the future Ton Duc Thang University has invested nearly VND 300 billion in developing infrastructure for the Khanh Hoa Campus. At present, the campus can accommodate approximately 2,000 students and trainees simultaneously. In its next phase of development, the campus will further expand with the construction of staff housing, a computing center, an upgraded library, and additional training and practice facilities, serving the educational needs of students from Khanh Hoa Province and beyond.
- Staffing structure
The Khanh Hoa Campus currently employs 73 staff members, including 44 full-time lecturers and 29 administrative personnel. Notably, all full-time lecturers hold Doctoral (Ph.D.) or Master’s (M.A./M.Sc.) degrees and play a crucial role in the campus’s academic and research activities.
The organizational structure of the campus includes: Board of Directors (comprising the Director and Deputy Director); Functional Offices: Administration and Management Office; Department of Personnel and Administrative Affairs; Academic Departments: Basic Sciences, Accounting, Business Administration, Tourism, Information Technology, Law, English Language, Graphic Design, Labor Relations, Occupational Safety and Health, Construction Management, Mathematics and Statistics, and Sports Management; Affiliated Units: Dormitory and Library; Party Organization and Socio-political Unions operating within the campus.
- Academic Programs
The Khanh Hoa Campus currently offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs, along with national certification exams in information technology and English proficiency. In addition, the campus provides customized training courses for government agencies and businesses in fields such as economics, engineering, and technology.
All academic programs adhere to Ton Duc Thang University’s published learning outcomes and meet regional and international integration standards. The undergraduate curriculum are designed in accordance with international accreditation frameworks, including AUN-QA, FIBAA, and ASIIN, ensuring that students receive a globally competitive education. These programs emphasize active learning, teamwork, and independent study, supported by a robust library of English-language learning materials and academic references.
Besides, the curriculum promotes creative thinking, discipline, and adaptability, equipping students to meet emerging professional challenges. The curriculum is conducted under a credit-based system, allowing students to adjust their study duration shorter or longer according to their individual capacity and circumstances.
To graduate, students enrolled in the standard undergraduate program must fulfill all official learning outcome requirements established by TDTU, including: English proficiency at the B1 international level, IELTS 5.0, or an equivalent certificate (except for English Language majors); Office computing proficiency, demonstrated by MOS scores of at least 750/1000 or ICDL results of at least 75% (except for Computer Science and Software Engineering majors); Soft skills, professional ethics, teamwork awareness, and career readiness; Practical competencies that align with industry standards and real-world demands.
Beyond language and IT requirements, students are also expected to cultivate soft skills, uphold discipline, demonstrate collective spirit, and maintain a proactive learning attitude. Their professional practice must reflect industry realities, ensuring that graduates are job-ready, adaptable, and effective in a dynamic labor market.
- Admissions
Currently, the Campus offers admission to 13 undergraduate programs under the standard curriculum, including:
Graphic Design – A modern discipline with multidimensional influence across most professions in society. The program equips learners with the ability to capture trends in advertising, cultural and artistic activities, and prepares them to work confidently in domestic and international design companies.
Computer Science – This field applies knowledge of algorithms, computational methods,programming languages, and systems analysis to develop information systems that support the nation’s industrialization and digital transformation. Career opportunities include software design and development, mobile applications, web-based e-commerce platforms, computer and mobile games, as well as system administration and cybersecurity solutions for computer networks.
English Language - English plays an essential role in the era of international integration and globalization. It serves as a global bridge for cooperation and investment across diverse fields such as education, healthcare, business, commerce, technology, and tourism.
Marketing – The Bachelor of Marketing program provides foundational knowledge and professional skills, enabling students to flexibly and creatively apply marketing strategies—both online and offline—across organizations and enterprises.
Business Administration (Hospitality Management) – An internationally standardized program that equips students with the confidence and adaptability required to thrive in today’s dynamic and globally integrated work environment.
Law – Law remains one of the most popular disciplines among learners. With economic development and the increasing need for business legal consultancy in both domestic and foreign enterprises, the demand for a high-quality legal workforce continues to grow.
Accounting – The high-quality Bachelor of Accounting program prepares graduates for accounting and auditing roles in government agencies, enterprises, and both domestic and international auditing firms, including multinational corporations.
Tourism (Tour Guiding) – This program provides fundamental and advanced knowledge of Vietnam’s culture, history, geography, and socio-economics, along with professional training in travel management. Students develop essential skills in tour guiding, itinerary design, and tour operation and management.
Software Engineering – This major focuses on professional software development processes, preparing students to produce high-quality software solutions tailored to specific business and industrial needs.
Occupational Safety and Health – This discipline equips students with in-depth knowledge and skills in workplace safety and occupational health. Graduates are capable of advising, managing, and implementing technical and managerial measures to ensure safe production, protect workers’ health, and safeguard enterprise assets. Career opportunities are available in enterprises, government agencies, and research or educational institutions in occupational safety.
Labor Relations (Organizational Behavior) – The program provides knowledge and skills in labor law, industrial relations, collective bargaining, human resource management, organizational behavior, and labor agreements. Graduates can work as HR managers, labor relations specialists, organizational consultants, or trade union officers.
Sports Management (Sports Business and Event Organization) – This interdisciplinary major combines knowledge of business administration, marketing communication, finance, and human resource management and applies it to the organization of music events, festivals, corporate events, and sports business management. Graduates can work as event coordinators, sports market analysts, sports communication and marketing specialists, or sports facility managers in hotels, resorts, and clubs.
Construction Management – The program provides the knowledge and skills necessary to manage construction projects—from planning and investment appraisal to bidding consultancy, construction supervision, and project evaluation. Graduates can work in government agencies, project management units, or as specialists in preparing cost estimates, evaluating, and inspecting construction projects, contributing to the sustainable development of the construction industry.

In the near future, based on labor market demand, the Campus plans to introduce new programs aligned with regional and national development needs.
- Industry Collaboration
With the goal of developing curriculum closely aligned with real-world demands, the Campus has collaborated with businesses to create opportunities for both businesses and students to exchange and interact with each other. These collaborations enable businesses to better understand students’ aspirations while helping guide their career development to meet market needs. Early exposure to corporate environments allows students to gain practical insights into their field of study and the expectations of employers. Through these engagements, students acquire valuable experience, become more proactive in their studies, and focus on building both academic knowledge and essential soft skills for future careers.
From the first year, students are introduced to enterprises to learn about industry operations and professional requirements. Academic courses are structured into modules that combine theoretical learning with practical application through industry engagement. As a result, graduates are job-ready and require minimal retraining by employers.
The Campus views school–enterprise collaboration as a key strategy for advancing education in Vietnam. Recognizing its importance, the Campus has continuously strengthened connections with the business community, developing comprehensive cooperation models that benefit both sides. Over the years, numerous joint initiatives have been implemented—such as career orientation sessions, professional skill workshops, internships, and recruitment programs—to support education and human resource development nationwide. These partnerships have not only enhanced the quality of training but also provided high-quality talent to the business sector.
At present, the Campus has signed cooperation agreements with nearly 50 major enterprises in Khanh Hoa Province, the Central region, the Central Highlands, and across the country.
- Student Activities
To ensure students’ holistic development, in addition to academic training and personal growth in ethics, discipline, and lifestyle, the Campus encourages participation in a wide range of social, cultural, artistic, and sports activities. With the motto that a healthy and balanced lifestyle is a crucial factor contributing to academic progress as well as the physical and mental development of individuals, the establishment of student clubs/teams/groups is an important part of Ton Duc Thang University's comprehensive development program, providing opportunities for students to practice what they have learned and to maximize their individual potential.
At the Campus, students can join a diverse array of clubs that cater to different interests and personal growth goals. Academic clubs such as English Zone, IT Club, and Young Accountants help enhance specialized knowledge. Meanwhile, skill-based clubs—including Social Work, Performing Arts, Master of Ceremonies (MC), Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Aikido, Yoga, Traditional Martial Arts, and Vovinam—foster teamwork, leadership, and physical fitness.
Additionally, several student teams—such as the Media Team, Event Organization Team, Dormitory Management Team, Disciplinary Team, Reception Team, and Library Collaborators—offer opportunities to develop leadership and collaboration skills. Members of these clubs and teams not only participate in internal events but also represent the Campus in university-wide, provincial, and city-level competitions, enhancing their personal capabilities and confidence.
As a public university, all student welfare and policies are fully guaranteed, including tuition fee exemptions and reductions for eligible groups, student loan programs, and scholarship opportunities. Furthermore, the University provides additional support policies to ensure favorable conditions for all students during their studies.
