Learning & Teaching

Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) is committed to providing a comprehensive, interactive, and integrated learning experience with a student-centered approach. TDTU’s undergraduate programs are developed in accordance with international accreditation standards such as AUN-QA, FIBAA, ASIIN, and others. Every element—from the program syllabus, teaching methods, and reference materials to the evaluation processes—is meticulously designed and harmonized to enhance learning effectiveness and help students keep pace with the demands of a globalized world.

At the Khanh Hoa Campus, every classroom is equipped with air conditioning, and every discipline features a dedicated simulation practice lab—every space is a part of the dynamic learning environment. In addition to emphasizing professional expertise and specific work skills, the Khanh Hoa Campus also cultivates strong moral character and a unique cultural identity in its students through a three-component ethics education program.

The learning experience at the Khanh Hoa Campus includes in-class sessions, guided online learning, self-study, group work, various academic activities, and guest lectures. Moreover, students acquire essential life and work skills through personal development programs organized by the university. At TDTU, aside from meeting English proficiency standards (international B1 level, IELTS 5.0, or an equivalent international certificate, except for the English Language major) and office IT proficiency requirements (MOS certificate scoring at least 750 out of 1000 or ICDL certification with a minimum of 75%, except for Computer Science and Software Engineering majors), there is also a strong focus on honing presentation, reporting, and debating skills—empowering students to confidently express their views, opinions, and engage in meaningful discussions.

The overarching philosophy in TDTU’s teaching is to maximally stimulate students’ creativity, foster self-learning and an investigative, research-oriented mindset that moves beyond textbooks and lectures, and ensure that the learning content is closely connected to real-world events and industry demands. Consequently, enterprise-based training, off-site education, and learning within actual societal environments are fundamental principles. At the Khanh Hoa Campus, students are provided with opportunities to visit, intern, and experience professional life at the university’s partner companies.

Students at the Khanh Hoa Campus have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills in a specialized, modern teaching and learning environment under the guidance of highly experienced faculty. The teaching staff, all holding at least a master’s degree, bring years of experience that bridge theory and practice to ensure effective knowledge transfer. Faculty members are passionate about teaching and continuously innovate their methods to deliver the best educational experience. In addition to the local team, students benefit from the expertise of seasoned lecturers who rotate from the main campus.
