1. Program Overview

The Environmental Science program prepares graduates with expertise in urban and industrial environmental management, environmental impact assessment, environmental quality monitoring and evaluation, natural resource management, energy management, pollution control technologies, water and air treatment, as well as solid and hazardous waste management.

Learning Outcomes and Graduate Competencies

  • Information Technology:
    International MOS certification with a minimum score of 750.
  • English Proficiency:
    IELTS 5.0 (Bachelor's level) or an equivalent internationally recognized English language qualification.
  • Professional Knowledge and Skills:

                 + Conduct environmental research and field investigations, identify and solve environmental issues, and assess the impacts of natural and human-induced factors on ecosystems and public health.

                 + Implement pollution control measures, promote sustainable natural resource management, and support ecosystem restoration.

                 + Assess, analyze, design, provide technical consultation, manage, and operate waste treatment facilities and pollution control systems for urban and industrial environments.

                 + Organize and implement environmental remediation projects, as well as measures to prevent and respond to environmental incidents.

Students undertake five to six months of field placement and internship at enterprises, industrial parks, research institutes, and multinational corporations. These practical experiences provide early exposure to professional working environments, allowing students to build hands-on experience, strengthen professional skills, and enhance their technical competencies throughout their studies.
