Registration Open: Postgraduate English Proficiency Assessment

Ton Duc Thang University officially announces the schedule for the English proficiency preparation course and assessment for applicants of the 2026 Phase 1 Master’s programmes. Details are outlined below:

1) Registration Deadline: From the date of this announcement until 17:00, March 20, 2026.

2) Preparation Course Duration: March 28, 2026 - April 12, 2026.

3) Provisional Timetable: Weekday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays.

4) Tentative Assessment Date: April 19, 2026.

5) Tentative Result Announcement: May 4, 2026.

6) Minimum Enrolment: A minimum of 10 candidates per subject is required to run the preparation course and assessment.

7) Fees: VND 2,200,000 per candidate per subject (inclusive of tuition fees for the preparation course and assessment fees for all four skills). Once the minimum enrolment threshold is met and the course is confirmed, fees are non-refundable.

8) Required Documents

- Application Form: Upon completing the online registration, the form will be emailed to your registered address or available for direct download. [Click here for the Registration Portal]. Digital Scans (for online submission via the link above):

  • National ID card or Citizen ID card;
  • Personal email address (designated for all official correspondence from the School of Graduate Studies);
  • 01 Bachelor’s degree certificate;
  • 01 Academic transcript or diploma supplement;
  • 01 passport-sized portrait photo (3×4 cm, taken within the last 6 months).

Hard Copies (for physical submission):

  • 01 copy of Bachelor’s degree certificate (or equivalent);
  • 01 copy of academic transcript (or equivalent);
  • 01 notarised copy of National ID card or Citizen ID card;
  • 04 passport-sized portrait photos (3x4 cm, taken within the last 6 months, with full name and date of birth clearly written on the reverse side).

9) Application Procedure

  • Step 1: Submit the hard-copy application dossier to the School of Graduate Studies (either in person or via express courier). Candidates applying at the Khanh Hoa Campus must submit their documents to the Department of Academic Affairs and Student Services (Room A001).
  • Step 2: Remit the required fees upon receiving official notification from the School of Graduate Studies (payable via QR code scan or bank transfer).

10) Passing Criteria (Level 3/6 Proficiency)

Candidates must achieve an overall average score of 5.0/10.0 across all four skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing), with no individual section score falling below 1.0.
