Guidelines for Undergraduate Admission Application Registration for 2026

The Admission Council of Ton Duc Thang University (hereinafter referred to as the University or TDTU) hereby announces the guidelines for undergraduate admission application registration for 2026 as follows:

1. Undergraduate Admission Methods for 2026

  • Method 1: Comprehensive Admission, based on applicants' competencies, including the results of the 2026 National High School Graduation Examination, high school academic performance, and other qualifications.
  • Method 2: Admission based on the results of the 2026 Ho Chi Minh City National University Competency Assessment Test.
  • Method 3: Direct Admission in accordance with the admission regulations issued by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET).
  • Applicants may refer to the admission criteria for each admission method for 2026 at https://admission.tdtu.edu.vn.
  • The University regularly updates the 2026 Undergraduate Admission Information on its website at https://admission.tdtu.edu.vn.

2. Guidelines for Applying for Admission to TDTU in 2026

a. General Regulations on Admission Application Registration

Applicants applying for admission to TDTU under any admission method are required to complete the following procedures:

  1. Register their admission application on the MOET Admission System in accordance with the instructions issued by the Ministry of Education and Training.
  2. Submit supporting documents for foreign language certificates and bonus-point eligibility through the TDTU Admission System at https://xettuyen.tdtu.edu.vn from May 5, 2026 to 5:00 PM (GMT+7), July 14, 2026.

b. Registering Admission Preferences on the MOET Admission System

  • Applicants are required to register their admission preferences under the University's admission methods and pay the admission application fee through the MOET Admission System in accordance with the guidelines and regulations issued by the Ministry of Education and Training.
    • Institution code for Ton Duc Thang University (Main Campus): DTT
    • Institution code for Ton Duc Thang University – Khanh Hoa Branch Campus: TDT
  • Applicants who have graduated from high school in previous years and do not yet have an admission account on the MOET Admission System must contact their local Department of Education and Training to obtain an account within the prescribed timeline.

c. Submission of Foreign Language Certificates and Bonus-Point Supporting Documents via the TDTU Admission System

  • From May 5, 2026 to 5:00 PM (GMT+7), July 14, 2026, applicants are required to submit their foreign language certificates and supporting documents for bonus points through the TDTU Admission System at https://xettuyen.tdtu.edu.vn.
  • For Method 1 – Comprehensive Admission (based on applicants' competencies, including the results of the 2026 National High School Graduation Examination, high school academic performance, and other qualifications):
    • Submit a foreign language certificate (as specified in Appendix 4) for the conversion of the certificate into an equivalent foreign language subject score and to satisfy the foreign language requirement for English-taught undergraduate programs and international joint programs.
    • Submit supporting documents for bonus points (bonus points as specified in Appendix 6 and merit bonus points as specified in Appendix 7) for the awarding of bonus points under Method 1.
  • Note: Applicants may provide information on their intended major(s) to receive guidance and admission counselling from TDTU.
  • For Method 2 – Admission based on the results of the 2026 Ho Chi Minh City National University Competency Assessment Test:
    Submit a foreign language certificate (as specified in Appendix 4) to satisfy the foreign language requirement for English-taught undergraduate programs and international joint programs.
  • For Method 3 – Direct Admission in accordance with the MOET admission regulations:
    Applicants are required to submit a hard-copy application dossier to TDTU in accordance with the University's announcement on direct admission.

d. Admission Regulations

  • Based on the admission preferences registered by applicants on the MOET Admission System, together with the official data on applicants’ high school academic results, the results of the 2026 National High School Graduation Examination, the results of the 2026 Ho Chi Minh City National University Competency Assessment Test, and other qualifications available in the MOET's centralized admission system, TDTU will conduct the admission process in accordance with the admission criteria for each admission method as specified in the 2026 Undergraduate Admission Information of TDTU.
  • TDTU will award bonus points based on the supporting documents for bonus-point eligibility submitted by applicants through the TDTU Admission System.
  • TDTU will use the information on foreign language certificates submitted by applicants through the TDTU Admission System to:
    • convert the foreign language certificate into an equivalent foreign language subject score; and
    • determine whether applicants satisfy the foreign language requirement for English-taught undergraduate programs and international joint programs.
