Civil Engineering - Postgraduate Program
The graduate program in Civil Engineering includes Master's and Doctoral programs training experts and scientists in a specific field or area of construction engineering. Graduates of these programs are able to flexibly expand and apply foundational and specialized knowledge; conduct research and propose creative solutions to address scientific and technological problems in Civil Engineering; address practical requirements in design, construction and construction management practice across various contexts; possess a high level of theoretical knowledge and appropriate practical competence, with the ability to conduct independent, creative research; establish and solve new problems of scientific significance and guide scientific research in the field of Construction; adapt to change and continue professional development through lifelong learning, with a professional work attitude, social responsibility and professional ethics. With a focus on advanced technology and sustainable development trends, the program also covers modern topics such as new construction materials, optimized structures, foundation engineering and structural repair and reinforcement. Notably, the program is developed based on a careful study of core, relevant content from corresponding training programs in advanced countries such as Singapore, France, Australia and Taiwan. After graduation, students may take on roles as experts, researchers, university lecturers, or technical managers at construction companies, research institutes, government agencies and international organizations.
